I have over 13 years of diverse professional financial experience working with world-renowned corporations such as Goldman Sachs, Ernst & Young, Walmart, and a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, as well as startups in the SaaS and FMCG industries. Due to my start-up experiences, I not only know how to develop, optimize processes, build financial business plans and teams from scratch but also due to my larger corporation experiences, I know how to scale and operate them on a global scale. As a result, I know the right measures of financial due diligence a company requires at each growth stage.
In addition to finance, I bring expertise in compliance, having successfully implemented comprehensive compliance management systems for organizations, including a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group. This experience ensured regulatory adherence, enhanced risk management, and streamlined compliance workflows. By integrating compliance into business operations, I aligned organizational priorities with regulatory requirements, safeguarding both efficiency and integrity.
I have a proven track record of accountability for financial control and reporting under IFRS, HGB, and US GAAP, as well as compliance integration, controlling, accounting, M&A, and investor relations across my German and US roles.
